Four Great Apes!
Make playing cards by printing out this page. Each child
is dealt four cards. The remaining cards are placed in a stack
face down. The first player gets one card from the upside-down stack.
He/she then begins a pile of cards with drawings showing,
by discarding one card and keeping four. At each turn, the next
player can choose the unseen card or the exposed card. When the
stack of fresh cards runs out, the other pile (expect the top card)
should be turned over. The aim is to end with four great ape cards
(one of each species) and call out "Four great apes!"
