The clinical veterinarian will be responsible for ensuring appropriate veterinary care and regulatory compliance consistent with BC US LLC's Standard Operating Procedures and in accordance the Animal Welfare Act and The Guide for the Care and Use of Laboratory Animals (2011). This includes but is not limited to overseeing the preventative health program, disease surveillance and prevention, administering analgesics and anesthetics, managing the DEA controlled substance program, surgical and post-surgical care, diagnosis and treatments of diseases, and overseeing an established quarantine program, consistent with guidelines required by the CDC, for the importation and distribution of primates into the US.


Doctor of Veterinary Medicine or Equivalent
Licensed to practice veterinary medicine in the State of Florida
Must be authorized or able to become authorized by the USDA's Veterinary Services to perform accredited duties on behalf of BC US, LLC.
Must be able to obtain a DEA license
