Primate Behavior & Ecology Field School in Costa Rica: summer 2018 and winter 2018-2019

Are you looking for a primate field school?

We are currently accepting applications for our winter 2019 field course in Costa Rica.
If your summer plans fell through, there are also a few last-minute spots for our summer 2018 field school in Costa Rica.

In La Suerte, Costa Rica:
LAST MINUTE SPOTS for Summer 2018: July 19 (fly in) to August 14 2018 (fly out)
Winter: December 27, 2018 (fly in) to January 9, 2019 (fly out)

Apply now for Maderas Rainforest Conservancy's Primate Behavior and Ecology course! La Suerte is home to mantled howler monkeys, white-faced capuchin monkeys, and Central American spider monkeys. Students will spend mornings observing and collecting data on monkeys, and afternoons attending daily lectures and working on assignments. The course will culminate with independent projects on primate behaviour. This field school is excellent preparation for graduate work in primatology.

Entrance Qualifications:
No specific prerequisites necessary.

Tuition / Fees:
$2 095 USD for course tuition, meals, lodging at the research station, and in-country group transportation. Airfare is an additional cost.
