Position Description:
The Kasanka Baboon Project is hiring for a new project manager with a start date of May 2018.

Project Manager for an ongoing long-term project of Kinda baboons in Kasanka National Park, Zambia. The manager will be in charge of monitoring one troop of Kinda baboons, collecting behavioral data, collecting and processing fecal samples, daily data entry and weekly communication with the project director. The manager must also manage scouts and camp assistant. The manager will also be in charge of the projects on ground community work. This will entail bi-monthly lesson planing and visits to the local conservation, girls and boys clubs, keeping track of scholarship recipients, and other community activities.

Applicant must have:
1) A Bachelors degree (preferably in science or related field)
2) Managemenent experience
3) Field work experience

Successful applicants must have a a positive, open attitude, be able to remain composed in frustrating situations and have the ability to live alone and work well with local team members

Salary/stipend is equivalent to a salary of a local individual raising a family of 5.

Support provided for internship/volunteer positions (travel, meals, lodging):
Airfare will be refunded after 12 months of successful appointment. Lodging is included and stipend will cover all necessary meals, etc...
