Position Description:
I am looking for a 6-month or 1-year position as a research assistant, preferably in an African country, working with gorillas, bonobos, or chimpanzees.

Educational Background:
Degree: B.Sc. in Biological Sciences with a Chemistry minor.
Field courses: (1) Conservation Biology, (2) Disease Ecology, and (3) Field Techniques in Conservation & Ecology.
Relevant Coursework: Biology Labs 1 & 2, Ecology Lab, Organic Chemistry Labs 1 & 2, Organic Chemistry 1 & 2, Calculus 1 & 2, Genetics, Animal Behavior, Global Environmental Politics, Bioethics, and Writing in the Biological Sciences.

Qualifications/Experience:
Volunteered as a field assistant with a PhD student catching frogs and testing them for the presence of chytrid fungus; 3 months field experience at the Pymatuning Laboratory of Ecology.
