Position Description:
I am looking for a job opportunity in the following areas of interest:

-field research on behavior of owl monkeys in South America
-work with primates in a zoo setting
-or work with a non-profit primate organization

*would be interested in working abroad, specifically in Africa or South America

Educational Background:
Education:

1) High school diploma, Seattle, WA, 2004
2) B.S. in Anthropology and B.S. in Primate Behavior and Ecology (Central Washington University, Ellensburg, WA)2008
3) MSc in Primate Conservation (Oxford Brookes University, Oxford, England) Course work and dissertation completed, September, 2009. Degree to be awarded in Spring 2010.

Experience:
1)Intern at Chimpanzee and Human Communication Institute (CHCI), 2006-07
2)Volunteer docent at CHCI, 2007-08
3)Biodiversity and Conservation Field School, Huangshan,China, Summer 2007
4) MSc Dissertation: Visitor effects on owl monkeys at Bristol Zoo, Bristol, England, 2009

MSc coursework in: research methods, primate biodiversity and status, human-primate conflicts, genetics, environmental education and captive management

Qualifications/Experience:
1) Biologist Assistant. Biota Pacific Environmental Sciences, Bothell, WA. 2002-2006

2) Teaching assistant. Experimental Education Unit. Seattle, WA. Summers 2002-2005

-Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, data entry, and writing research reports

-Heavy lifting experience: rowed in high school; weight training.
