12 month Evolution of Primate Behaviour and Instinct Study

Position Description:
I'm looking for 12 months studying primate internship as part of my BSc Biology degree. I'm currently in my second year, and i have chosen to take a gap year to carry out hands on field work with primates. I am keen to be situated anywhere in the world and i'm not necessarily looking for paid work, but maybe some kind of volunteers hostel available near to the field centre would be great! I am a keen scientist who has always had a deep interest in primates and their evolution and i would love to gain more experience in this area.
Educational Background:
Currently in 2nd year of BSc Biology in Cardiff University, UK. I am aiming for a 1st class degree.
I have a lot of experience in statistical analysis, carrying out many types of tests, using programmes such as Excel and MiniTab. I gained a 82% grade in the stats module.
3 A Levels: Biology (A) Chemisty (A) Geography (A)
11 GCSEs including : Biology (A*) Chemistry (A*) Physics (A*) Maths (A*) English Language (A) English Literature (A) Spanish (A*) Geography (A)
I am also learning high level Spanish in an extra-curricular course, so this may be beneficial for Spanish speaking countries.
Qualifications/Experience:
I have yet to build a great about of experience in primate work, but i have lead other conservation projects including the fund raising for a local conservation site for woodland re-development.
I would love the opportunity of an internship to help give me that intitial boost on what I am hoping to be a long career in scientific research.
