Possible research areas include 1) effects of ssri treatment on differentially reared or temperamentally inhibited adolescent monkeys 2) development of neuroimaging methods (VBM, DTI, fMRI, PET) to assess emotional development in nonhuman primates 3) development of eyetracking procedures to probe cognition-affect interaction across development in different populations of monkeys.

The position is open to 1) recent Ph.D.s in psychology, cognitive neuroscience, neuroscience, biology, neuropharmacology, or other applicable discipline, or 2) M.D.s with training in psychiatry, neurology, nuclear medicine, radiology, or other relevant field. The successful candidate will join a multidisciplinary team using pharmacology, neuroimaging, behavioral and physiological assay to study genetic and environmental determinants of emotional development in nonhuman primates.
