We offer a vibrant as well as well-resourced research environment. We have a vacancy for a lectureship in the research area of evolutionary and comparative cognition. The appointment is available from 1 October 2009 or as soon as possible thereafter. The successful candidate will join the School's flourishing 'Origins of Mind' group, whose research includes a range of evolutionary and developmental approaches to understanding the origins of cognitive abilities. Evidence of research excellence and the potential to establish a significant programme of externally-funded research will be expected.
