Position Description:
Worldwide Primates is a commercial importer-distributor of non-human primates. We are seeking a qualified individual for the position of facility veterinarian.
As such responsibilities will include (bit not limited to) oversight of quarantine and facility primate health program, maintenance of SOP's related to the above, liaison with USDA and other Governmental agencies, and preparation of animals for shipment to clients. Bilingual (English/Spanish) desired but not required. Experience with non-human primates preferred. Starting date: On/About August 15, 2009.
Qualifications/Experience:
Veterinary degree from USA or equivalent from out of country institution.
Salary/funding:
Commensurate with experience.
