Position Description:
The Mannheimer Foundation, Inc. is a large non-human primate breeding and research facility located in Homestead and Clewiston, Florida. We are home to more than 4,000 nonhuman primates including rhesus and cynomolgus macaques, hamadryas baboons, and squirrel monkeys. We are currently seeking a husbandry supervisor to provide team leadership to a staff of husbandry technicians at our Homestead, Florida facility. The supervisor will work under the direction of the Operations Manager and duties will vary but may include scheduling, training and supervision of staff as well as husbandry and veterinary assistant duties.
Qualifications/Experience:
Qualified applicants should have 3 to 5 years of husbandry experience. Preference will be made for applicants with prior supervisory experience, AALAS certification and college coursework or degree.
Salary/funding:
Salary dependent on education, certification, and experience. Excellent benefits including fully paid health insurance.
