BS Biology, minor marine science and psychology from University of Miami,Coral Gables, FL USA
-Independent research on food sharing in Aotus

MSc Primate Conservation, Oxford Brookes University, Oxford, UK
-dissertation: Welfare and Behavioral implications of positive reinforcement training with Anubis baboons. I trained 6 individuals while they remained in the social group (125 individuals) to station, recall, and other husbandry helpful behaviors.
-coursework: captive management, conservation genetics, research methods, human-wildlife conflict, environmental education, primate biodiversity

Internship with animal care at Shedd Aquarium, Chicago, IL., USA
-Independent research on habitat and enrichment use of pygmy marmosets
