Position Description:
Morgan Island, South Carolina.

Responsible for censusing 1000-1500 free-range rhesus primates in an outside environment to include reproduction and group composition details. Additional responsibilities include trapping, tattooing, injections, weighing animals, and basic veterinary skills, which may be taught on-site. Minimal duties include feeding and watering animals, and assisting with cleaning of feeders once per month. May learn to operate machinery to include boats, forklifts, and bobcats.

Must be able to lift 40lb repeatedly, able to work in an outside environment, and have computer experience.

Qualifications/Experience:
HS Diploma or GED required. Bachelor degree in a science related field is preferred. Previous experience working with primates is preferred.

Salary/funding:
$28,000 annually
