You will work within the veterinary care program, working with a wide range of species and laboratory projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Self motivated, independent individuals are sought to work in animal assessment, medical treatments, nursing, diagnostics, environmental enrichment, and surgery to list a few. Additional responsibilities’ to include overall compliance to record keeping, governmental regulations and animal welfare standards are expected.
Qualifications/Experience:
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
•AS degree or equivalent, specializing in veterinary technology, or related experience and/or training. (Veterinary Technician Assistant Training and/or experience will be considered for Veterinary Technician positions.)
•Veterinary Technician license or equivalent, Veterinary Technician Assistant certification or equivalent, AALAS certification is a plus.
SKILLS and ABILITIES
•The Veterinary Technician must possess excellent organizational and communication skills, and be a team player.
