Position Description:
The ICP-Institut Català de Paleontologia is a research centre of the Universitat Autònoma
de Barcelona (UAB), devoted to the research in Vertebrate and Human Paleontology at the
highest international level.
ICP (Paleoprimatology and Human Paleontology department) is currently offering pre-doctoral contracts to well-qualified candidates who wish to do
their thesis in the following area.
Subject: Description and functional interpretation of the Hispanopithecus laietanus skeleton C1-18800 from Can Llobateres (Barcelona, Spain).
Qualifications/Experience:
No restrictions of citizenship apply to the ICP pre-doctoral contracts.
Ph. D- graduate biological/ geological sciences with knowledge in mammalian paleontology. Technical and methodological experience is appreciated.
Candidates are requested to submit:

• A certified copy of their average academic marks.

ICP- pre-doctoral fellows are selected on the basis of their academic records and their
personal achievements. Proactivity, participation in community activities, and capacity for team-work are also taken into account.
Salary/funding:
The contracts are offered for periods of one year, renewable for a total of three years.
