Position Description:
The ICP-Institut Català de Paleontologia is a research centre of the Universitat Autònoma
de Barcelona (UAB), devoted to the research in Vertebrate and Human Paleontology at the
highest international level.
ICP is currently offering pre-doctoral contracts to well-qualified candidates who wish to do
their thesis in the following area.
Subject:
1. The postcranal skeleton of Anchomomy, a Middle Eocene adapiform from Sant Jaume de Frontanya (Barcelona, Spain).
Qualifications/Experience:
No restrictions of citizenship apply to the ICP pre-doctoral contracts.
Ph. D- graduate biological/ geological sciences with knowledge in mammalian paleontology. Technical and methodological experience is appreciated.
Candidates are requested to submit:
• A presentation letter with declaration of interests,

and a copy of the passport,
• A certified copy of their average academic marks.
• The e-mail contact of three potential referees.
ICP- pre-doctoral fellows are selected on the basis of their academic records and their
personal achievements. Proactivity, participation in community activities, and capacity for team-work are also taken into account.
Salary/funding:
The contracts are offered for periods of one year, renewable for a total of three years.
