Nikko Wildlife Management Project (Project began in December,1982. Continuing.)
Director: Masaaki Koganezawa
Research Objectives: To assess the influence of human activity and habitat disturbance on the ecology and behavior of Japanese monkeys and other forest wildlife in Nikko National Park.
Field Positions and Volunteers: The volunteers of Earth Watch Japan supported the field work of sika deer.
Species Studied: Macaca fuscata (Japanese macaque)
