Affiliations: Alpha Genesis, Inc. (AGI) serves a wide variety of organizations, including both public and privately funded research and academic institutions.

Mission: Alpha Genesis Inc. provides the highest quality nonhuman primate products and bio-research services world-wide. AGI has enjoyed tremendous success and as we have grown to serve a broader customer base we have strengthened our dedication to providing only the very best and most cost-effective research and development support to the scientific community. Each AGI employee that works within our AAALAC accredited facilities is highly qualified and carefully trained specifically to complete the job you hired us to do. At AGI your research is, and will always be, our highest priority. Monkeys at AGI facilities are of optimal health, both physically and psychologically, and complete medical records are available for review by prospective clients.

Clientele: Public and privately funded research and academic institutions, to include academic university-based research, commercial drug and vaccine development, and federal research programs. USDA Licensed, AAALAC Accredited, OLAW Assured.

Principal Research Programs: Alpha Genesis, Inc. is a primate breeding and research facility whose products and services include: 1) nonhuman primate research models, 2) contract research and consultation, 3) primate housing and CDC quarantine, and 4) primate biological products and materials. Principal research areas include: Aging and Metabolic Diseases, Immunogenetics and Immonology, Reproduction, Neurobiology, Physiological Ethology, Psychobiology. Recent research focus: embryonic stem cells, AIDS vaccine research, women's health, developmental disorders, glaucoma and presbyopia, osteoporosis, Parkinson's, movement disorders, diabetes, drug addiction, and obesity.

Training Opportunities: Veterinary training and other educational opportunities available in primate biology, medicine, biomedical research, and behavior. Unique opportunity to work directly with monkeys. Educational and training opportunities are available to interested graduate and undergraduate students case-by-case. Interested students should submit a research plan to Outreach activities are also considered case-by-case basis.

Financial Aid: Applications for internship positions accepted for summer research programs. Financial aid available on a limited basis.
