Mission: As a Center of Excellence for Chimpanzee Health Care, it is the mission of the Alamogordo Primate Facility to continue to improve the Quality of Life for captive chimpanzee by advancing the standards of health care. To that end the APF maintains NIH-owned chimpanzees in the best possible housing conditions.
