Mission: Conservation Information Service (CIS) provides information about field projects important for primate conservation and the management of primate habitats. The goal of CIS is to link persons developing and managing conservation-related projects with donors who share their goals. Project descriptions will be reviewed and, if appropriate, will be endorsed and posted on the web site along with endorsements.

Principal Research Programs: Currently accepting preproposals for projects to be reviewed. See web site.

Comments: CIS is not a granting agency, but is designed to make information available about projects that have been reviewed by knowledgable people in the field. The goal is to encourage support of projects by making evaluations available to enhance their credibility and appeal.
