Research Objectives: Elucidate role of fruit-eating animals (primates, bats, and birds) in seed dispersal in the natural regeneration of tropical rain forests.

Field Positions and Volunteers: 3 or 6 month self-funded (@ L1000 - 1200 + international travel)

Species Studied: Hylobates agilis: dark-handed gibbon; Hylobates muelleri: Mueller's Bornean grey gibbon; Presbytis rubicunda: maroon leaf monkey; Macaca fascicularis: long-tailed macque

Other Species Found At Site: Macaca nemestrina: pig-tailed macague; Pongo pygmateus: Borneo orangutan (occasional)
