Mission: Objectives and mission of the Italian Jane Goodall Institute are the same of the JGI International. Moreover, the JGI Italia has the objective to support the community of Kigoma in the neighbourhood of the Gombe National Park through specific projects dedicated to AIDS orphans and street children. We believe that it is impossible to preserve the Gombe paradise without taking into consideration the development needs of those who share the chimp's environment.
