Lawrence Jacobsen Library (Established 1973)

Mission: The library supports the research programs of the Wisconsin Primate Research Center (WPRC) and aids in the dissemination of information about nonhuman primates to the international scientific community. Books, periodicals, newsletters and other documents in all languages related to the field of primatology are in scope. Special collections include rare books, reprints and audiovisual materials. Internet-based information services are described below. Clientele: Primary clientele are the staff and affliates of the WPRC. Through its Internet service programs, the library also provides communication and information support to faculty and students of the University of Wisconsin, and to primatologists worldwide. Number of Staff: 6 Comments: Service fees are charged for interlibrary loan and use of audiovisual materials. These vary with location and extent of services provided.
