Training Opportunities: Educational opportunities available for: Undergraduate, Graduate; Focus on behavioral ecology/socioecology/conservation biology; Fieldwork opportunities may be available; Financial support usually available for graduate students. Financial Aid: Graduate teaching assistantships (often) and graduate fellowships (occasional). First-year graduate students are typically funded in their first summers to conduct pilot studies that will help them in applying for external grants to support their dissertation research.
