Besides from that, assisted reproduction programs are being implemented to understand the Biology of Reproduction of the spider monkey and to enable techniques to reduce endogamy in closed colonies of nonhuman primates. Principal Research Programs: Social behavior, social physiology, evolutionary psychology and biology of reproduction. Environmental enrichment and psychological well-being of primates. Training Opportunities: We can accommodate anyone interested in doing research (from precollege to professional) in any of the areas above mentioned, as well as primate medicine (although not currently a line of research). We cannot offer financial aid.
