Ultimate goal of research is to provide information for forest management practices and conservation efforts. Principal Research Programs: Research on ecology and behavior of fruit- and seed-consuming primates. Research is conducted by graduate students from U.S., Europe, Asia, etc. through the University of Wisconsin, and by students from the Rwandan University, thus providing opportunity for multicultural learning together with thesis research.
