Principal Research Programs: Behavior and ecology of the black howler monkey (Alouatta pigra); Reintroduction of howler monkeys to other parts of Belize; Biological diversity assessments of program areas; Studies of forest succession following slash and burn agricultures; Studies of the useful plants of the rainforest. Conservation of mantled howler monkeys in Nicaragua; Conservation of the golden langur (Trachypithecus geei) and other primates and wildlife in Assam and the northeastern states of India.
