Mission: Field research of howler monkeys (Alouatta palliata and A. pigra) and Spider monkeys (Ateles geoffroyi)in the tropical rain forests of Los Tuxtlas, southern Veracruz and in the state of Tabasco and Chiapas.

Principal Research Programs: Research aimed at documenting, on a long-term basis, aspects of population, ecology, behavior and conservation of the three primate species. Training of university students through participation in on-going research. Visit web page for further details.

Training Opportunities: Training through participation in on-going field projects is available for both undergraduate and graduate students.

Financial Aid: We provide educational opportunities, but students need to secure support elsewhere.
