Director: Dr. Kymberly Snarr, Director of Conservation and Research
Mission: To provide leadership in education, research, conservation, and optimal use of natural resources in the tropics. COTERC provides environmental education programs for use in public schools in Ontario. It also administers a field research station located in Costa Rica.
Principal Research Programs: Behavioural and other noninvasive research including large mammal data collection; Plant census survey; Meteorological data collection; Developing educational programs in Canada and Costa Rica.
