Mission: Facilitate the humane care and use of laboratory animals. Principal Research Programs: Blood storage and platelet studies in baboons.; Medical device (primarily vascular) and product testing prior to human use. Training Opportunities: Educational opportunities available for: Professional; Field work opportunities not available; Program emphasis: Laboratory animal medicine; Financial support occasionally available; Note: We participate in a training program for postdoctoral veterinarians in the specialty of laboratory animal medicine.
