Mission: Research on reproductive biology of "Cebus apella" with emphasis on three areas:
a) gamete and embryo interactions with the female genital tract,
b) lactational infertility
c) regulation of the menstrual cycle central
d) central nervous system development.

Principal Research Programs: Sperm migration in the female genital tract ("Cebus"); Ultrastructural, immunological and biochemical characterization of ejaculated sperm ("Cebus"); Endocrine changes during pregnancy and lactation ("Cebus"); Mechanisms of action of antiestrogens and antiprogestins upon the ovary ("Cebus"); Maternal fetal interaction in the development of fetal newborn circadian system ("Cebus")
