51) The proboscis monkey is found only in Borneo. They eat leaves and other vegetation and spend most of their day in the trees. They live in mangrove swamps and in forests near rivers. Proboscis monkeys, so named because of their unusual nose, sleep in trees near water, possibly as a protection from predators. A monkey with a very large nose sits in a tree.
