60) Beginning in 1985, farmers were recruited to the plan. Each signed a pledge to manage their land for the benefit of both their families and the monkeys. A group of farmers sit on a bench while they  sign the conservation agreement.

More than 100 landowners have agreed to this plan and more than 1000 monkeys live in the protected areas.
